week 3, day four ; staying healthy and strong

How my family and I stay healthy and strong

We do long bike rides, walks and other physical activities (like chin ups) to have strong muscles

We eat healthy foods like some meat, lots of vegetables and fruit, bread  and cereals to give us vitamins, carbohydrates minerals and energy.

We drink lots of fluids - milk and water to keep our bodies hydrated so that we can live and think.

We sleep a lot so our bodies can rest and repair so we can be ready to start a new day and learn new things.

I play with my brother to have fun.

  1. Kia ora,

Great work on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity - keep up the good work. Don’t forget to comment back to blog commenters as well as on others SLJ blog posts to gain extra points.

It's great to hear that you do so many things to support you to stay fit and healthy. You must be very strong if you can do chin ups!
Where did you learn about vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates? It's great to see you know about them. Do you know what they do for our bodies and how much we should have?

Until next time, happy blogging :)
