week4;day 3; 20 hour famine

I would like to do a 20
hour famine because;
-I don’t always eat a lot- so going
without food for 20 hours would be easy for me.
- I wouldn’t want to do a 40 hour famine as it
seems to long that’s nearly two whole days!
-I get to eat barley sugars
-I get to donate  money for children in
  poor countries for food, houses/shelter,
clothes and medicine
-I can read books, play with lego and
watch tv because I will not have much energy.

week 3, day 4: Aquabots

Would I like to join the  school aquabots club- why/why not?

Why;
It would fun to create my own aquabot and control it to pick up sharks and move obstacles from the islands.
It would fun to learn about electronics and how they work so I can make my own special aquabot that can swim, have claws and little shovels to move things.
I can get ideas from watching others.

Why Not:
It costs to much money to join and become a member and to buy electronic parts for my aquabot.
I may not win the competiton and that woud make me feel sad and angry.
There is no swimming pool at my school and I would have to buy a pool, borrow or go to Rolleston swimming pools to test my aquabot

week 3, day four ; staying healthy and strong

How my family and I stay healthy and strong

We do long bike rides, walks and other physical activities (like chin ups) to have strong muscles

We eat healthy foods like some meat, lots of vegetables and fruit, bread  and cereals to give us vitamins, carbohydrates minerals and energy.

We drink lots of fluids - milk and water to keep our bodies hydrated so that we can live and think.

We sleep a lot so our bodies can rest and repair so we can be ready to start a new day and learn new things.

I play with my brother to have fun.
